Cristiano Ronaldo Jr Makes Portugal U16 Debut, Beginning a New Football Legacy

Sharjah City Municipality, supported by the Sharjah Executive Council, has launched a generous relief initiative offering a 50% discount on fees for attesting old, unattested lease contracts across the emirate.

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, affectionately known as “Cristianinho,” made his official debut for Portugal’s Under-16 national team on October 30, 2025, during a 2–0 victory over Turkey in the Federations Cup held in Antalya, Turkey. The 15-year-old forward entered the match during stoppage time, marking a significant milestone in his budding football career admired by fans and scouts worldwide.

Ronaldo Jr previously shone at the Under-15 level, notably scoring twice in the final of the Vlatko Marković International Tournament, leading Portugal to a 3–2 win. Currently, he is part of the youth academy at Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr, mirroring his father Cristiano Ronaldo’s path, who also stars for the club. Before joining Al Nassr, Ronaldo Jr trained in prestigious youth academies of Juventus and Manchester United, gaining experience in elite football environments.

While his international journey at the youth level is just beginning, Ronaldo Jr’s rapid progress and impressive performances suggest a promising future. As he starts carving out his own identity in football, he carries the notable pressure and scrutiny that comes with the Ronaldo family name but remains focused on talent and dedication.
