Abu Dhabi Liveability Strategy expansion 2025 marks a major milestone in the emirate’s ongoing commitment to elevating the quality of life for Emirati families. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Executive Council, approved a Dh42 billion expansion aimed at enhancing community services, upgrading infrastructure, and improving facilities across residential neighbourhoods.

Building on initial successes, including the integration of residential areas rising from 67% in 2023 to 81% in 2025, the expansion focuses on ensuring seamless access to quality amenities. Key achievements so far include over 60 projects valued at Dh12 billion, featuring more than 200 parks and sports courts, 24 schools, 21 mosques, 28 community majlises, nearly 120 kilometres of walking paths, 283 cycling tracks, and comprehensive street lighting and beautification initiatives.

Additionally, Abu Dhabi is accelerating government digital transformation, investing Dh13 billion in the Government Digital Strategy 2025-2027 to become the world’s premier AI-powered government by 2027. This includes deploying AI-driven platforms like TAMM 4.0 for smarter, more proactive public service delivery.

Sheikh Khaled emphasized that enhancing citizen wellbeing remains a core priority, urging faster infrastructure development and leveraging advanced technologies to boost efficiency, productivity, and service quality in the emirate’s communities
