Anwar Gargash Recognition for Trump Ending Gaza War- Gulf Repost

Dr. Anwar Mohammed Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the President of the UAE, has praised Donald Trump for his role in ending the Gaza war and supporting the peace plan announced at the Sharm El Sheikh Summit.

In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Gargash wrote that “Trump deserves recognition for ending the Gaza war, backing the peace plan, and uniting the international community under a clear vision for stability.”

He described the end of the conflict as a “critical moment that saved the region from endless escalation.” Gargash urged the focus to now shift from fighting to “reconstruction, accountability, and long-term peace.”

The UAE leadership has supported diplomatic engagement across regional partners, emphasizing that the peace plan — now recognized by the United States — is a vital framework for sustainable stability in the Middle East.

The Sharm El Sheikh Summit, held in Egypt, brought together regional and global powers to outline a roadmap for ceasefire monitoring, humanitarian access, and post-conflict rebuilding. Gargash highlighted that the plan’s acceptance by the US administration reflects a turning point in regional diplomacy.

This statement adds weight to the UAE’s ongoing diplomatic stance advocating for negotiation over confrontation — and reflects the country’s belief in pragmatic partnerships to maintain peace in the Arab world.
