Abu Dhabi’s culinary scene continues to shine as the latest edition of the MICHELIN Guide 2026 recognizes 11 new restaurants, marking another milestone in the emirate’s growing reputation as a global food hub. The fourth edition now features a total of 56 restaurants, reflecting the city’s evolving gastronomic excellence and diversity.

Three of the newly recognized restaurants have earned the Bib Gourmand distinction, celebrating exceptional food at great value. These include Bua Thai Café on Yas Island, known for its vibrant Thai curries and authentic flavors; 3Fils Abu Dhabi at Al Bateen Marina, the capital’s extension of Dubai’s renowned Japanese restaurant; and Goldfish at Marina Mall, loved for its high-quality sushi and yakitori.

Eight other restaurants have been newly selected for inclusion in the guide, representing a mix of global cuisines and local inspiration. These include Cipriani Dolci, Antonia, Novikov Abu Dhabi, Villa Mamas, Taparelle, Pincode by Kunal Kapur, Strawfire by Ross Shonhan, and Sand & Koal. Each brings a unique flair to Abu Dhabi’s food scene, combining world-class quality with regional influences.

Three restaurants — Erth, Hakkasan, and Talea by Antonio Guida — have retained their One MICHELIN Star rating, reaffirming their consistent excellence and contribution to the emirate’s fine-dining landscape.

The inclusion of 11 new venues underscores how Abu Dhabi is fast emerging as a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts. The city now offers a balance of fine dining and casual experiences, where visitors can enjoy everything from street-style eats to gourmet artistry.

This growing recognition positions Abu Dhabi as a true culinary capital of the Middle East — one that celebrates global influences while nurturing local creativity.
