AI for All

The UAE has launched the “AI for All” initiative in partnership with Google, aimed at building national AI skills across all ages and professions. This nationwide program, announced during UAE Coding Day (UAE Codes 2025) and running through 2026, provides free educational workshops to teach AI fundamentals. It supports the UAE’s vision to become a global hub for innovation and technology talent.

“AI for All” offers practical lessons on using generative AI tools, creativity, productivity, privacy, and data protection. Small and medium-sized businesses will also receive dedicated training to harness AI for growth and efficiency. Earlier in 2025, Google provided UAE university students with free access to its Gemini 2.5 AI model for experimentation and learning.

The initiative will expand into a nationwide awareness campaign in 2026 to promote AI literacy, encouraging residents to complete basic AI training and experience Google’s AI products. It aligns with the UAE Vision 2031 for AI leadership and Google’s regional AI Opportunity Initiative to empower communities by 2027. Since 2018, Google’s Maharat min Google platform has trained over 430,000 people in digital literacy in the UAE, with AI-focused courses now expanding.
