The Aster Volunteers Iftar Kits Distribution Ramadan UAE initiative returns for its seventh year, with plans to distribute 150,000 Iftar kits to motorists and vulnerable workers across the country during the holy month.
An average of 5,000 meal boxes containing dates, water, juice, and cake will be handed out daily at six major traffic junctions in Dubai, coordinated with Dubai Police to ensure safety and smooth traffic flow during evening rush hours.
Beyond urban areas, volunteers will reach remote desert locations in Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain to assist farm labourers and shepherds with grocery supplies, medical screenings, and essential medicines, extending care to underserved communities.
Dr Azad Moopen, Founder Chairman of Aster DM Healthcare, emphasized the program’s commitment to compassion and dignity, reflecting Ramadan’s spirit through the “Joy of Giving” campaign.
