The Rashid and Latifa Schools Establishment (RLSE) has announced the opening of scholarship applications starting October 6, 2025, for British curriculum students entering Years 7, 8, and 9 in the 2026-2027 academic year. The scholarships are available to academically outstanding Emirati and expatriate students, reinforcing RLSE’s commitment to enriching Dubai’s educational landscape.

Dr Ahmed Abdullah Belhoul Al Falasi, Chairman of RLSE, highlighted that the initiative aligns with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to provide high-quality, outcome-driven education. The scholarships reflect RLSE’s dedication to the Education Strategy 2033, supporting student-centred learning and strengthening human capital for Dubai’s future.

With a legacy dating back to the early 1980s, Rashid School for Boys and Latifa School for Girls have educated over 2,000 students, including prominent ministers and officials, with graduates comprising nearly 19% of the UAE Cabinet.

Dr Rabaa Al Sumaiti, CEO of RLSE, emphasized a balanced curriculum that combines academic excellence with leadership, critical thinking, innovation, and national identity through an exclusive Leadership Diploma alongside secondary qualifications.

The scholarship selection focuses on top-performing students, applying strict academic and leadership criteria, with added consideration for skills in athletics, entrepreneurship, technology, artificial intelligence, creativity, public speaking, and Arabic proficiency.

Applications must be submitted exclusively via the official school website by November 7, 2025, followed by assessments to ensure candidates meet RLSE’s standards.

The new Rashid and Latifa School campus, the largest in the Gulf, spans nearly 280,000 square meters, featuring sustainable smart systems, Olympic-standard sports facilities, AI and e-sports labs, dedicated Arabic and Islamic studies centres, and world-class creative arts studios—fostering a holistic learning environment that balances academic and life skills development.
