Tickets for the highly anticipated T20 International between Australia-India at Melbourne Cricket Ground on October 31, 2025, have sold out more than three weeks in advance, marking a record for fan demand. Cricket Australia reports that public ticket allocations for 12 days of the Ashes series are also fully booked, highlighting cricket’s soaring popularity this summer.
Overall ticket sales for the BKT Tyres Men’s ODI and T20I Series have exceeded 175,000, with just over 30,000 tickets remaining for the final eight matches. Public tickets for Sydney and Manuka Oval games have also sold out, while Adelaide ODI and Gabba T20I venues are nearing capacity with fewer than 5,000 tickets left for each.
Cricket Australia CEO Todd Greenberg credited the enduring Australia-India rivalry for the unprecedented fan enthusiasm. “The huge crowd expected at Melbourne underscores how passionately fans embrace this contest,” said Greenberg. “Selling over 175,000 tickets with 13 days until the first ODI in Perth is phenomenal.”
With packed stadiums and record-breaking sales, Australia’s 2025-26 summer of cricket promises an unforgettable sporting spectacle.
