DP World global headquarters at Expo City Dubai 2027 has entered its next construction phase with a foundation completion ceremony attended by leading officials including Reem Al Hashimy and Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem. The eight-storey, 301,940-square-foot landmark is designed to embody innovation, sustainability, and Dubai’s ambition as a global trade hub.
Key architectural features include a 10.45-metre cantilever creating a striking hovering effect and a fully automated parking facility accommodating nearly 1,000 vehicles, including 100 electric cars — a regional first. The building will house 850 employees and welcome around 2,000 visitors daily, with public-facing spaces like cafes and meeting rooms to foster collaboration.
Maintaining Expo 2020 legacy, the preserved Flow Pavilion and fountain will serve as the project’s centerpiece, symbolizing DP World’s mission to make trade flow efficiently. The sustainable design incorporates energy-efficient louvres and integrated digital management for energy, visitor access, and workplace operations, setting a new standard for regional workspaces.
