New secondary school Ras Al Khaimah development takes a leap forward as RAK Academy announces the launch of its advanced Secondary School at the Al Hamra branch, set to open in August 2026 for the 2026–2027 academic year. The project represents a vital educational milestone in Ras Al Khaimah, blending the academy’s 50-year legacy with sustainable, future-ready campus design.
Executive Principal Graham Beale emphasized the new secondary school’s mission to inspire, nurture, and empower students by combining forward-thinking educational frameworks with internationally recognized standards.
The campus design centers on extensive green spaces, shaded courtyards, and energy-efficient environments that foster academic and environmental responsibility. “The Heart” serves as a dynamic hub for students, families, and educators, from which two educational pathways extend: The Journey of Learning and The Journey of Growth.
Purpose-built facilities include a 466-seat auditorium, a Sixth Form Center, expansive libraries, modern classrooms, specialized science and arts labs, design and innovation hubs, a Black Box Theatre, and sports and wellbeing infrastructure such as a sports hall, swimming pool, and fitness suite.
The school promises an inspiring learning environment with a balanced curriculum promoting academic, social, cultural, and physical development, affirming RAK Academy’s leadership in Northern Emirates education.
