Unified Digital Platform

UAE to launch unified digital platform called the “Emirati Work Package for the Private Sector,” designed to streamline and simplify the employment journey for Emiratis entering the private sector. The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization (MoHRE) announced the platform will go live by the end of 2025 as part of a broader digital transformation under the “Work Package” initiative.

This innovative platform integrates federal, local, and private service providers into one digital ecosystem, eliminating the need for Emiratis and employers to navigate multiple systems. It offers end-to-end services that accelerate hiring, onboarding, and administrative tasks through a user-friendly, all-in-one experience aligned with the UAE’s “Zero Bureaucracy” vision.

Currently in the pilot phase, the platform simplifies private sector job applications, work permit requests, renewals, modifications, and cancellations—all processed digitally with automatic verification minimizing redundant document submissions. This ensures faster processing times and increased efficiency.

Previously, MoHRE launched a related digital “Work Package” for resident employees and domestic workers, allowing services like residency issuance, medical exams, and Emirates ID processing in one seamless digital journey via the workinuae.ae platform.

By enabling data exchange and integration between key government and private entities, the platform leverages national enablers such as GSB and UAE PASS to proactively deliver government services and enhance transparency.

The new Emirati Work Package for the Private Sector represents a major milestone in the UAE’s ongoing commitment to empower citizens through technology, reduce administrative burdens, and increase Emiratisation in the private workforce.
