The World Schools Football Cup 2025 in Barcelona, powered by Finvasia, showcased over 350 highly competitive matches featuring more than 1,000 athletes representing 40 schools and 20 countries. The tournament, held across seven age categories ranging from Under-11 to Under-18, highlighted the spirit of global youth football with players competing passionately and respectfully, embodying the values of sportsmanship and leadership.
Finvasia’s partnership brought extra prestige to the event, with “Players of the Match” during knockout finals receiving 24-karat gold coins, symbolizing excellence and character, as explained by Finvasia’s CEO Tajinder Virk. The collaboration reflects Finvasia’s commitment beyond business, aiming to nurture grassroots leadership and education globally.
The event featured cultural performances including Bombastik Percussió and freestyle artist Joan Freestyle, and was broadcast live worldwide, further elevating its significance. The tournament crowned 18 champions across Cup, Plate, and Bowl divisions, celebrating teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship.
