MAIR Group KEZAD logistics warehouses acquisition details
MAIR Group KEZAD logistics warehouses acquisition involves KEZAD Logistics Park – KLP Free Zone 3 (FZ3) in KEZAD Al Ma’mourah, secured through Makani Real Estate under an extendable 50-year Musataha land lease arrangement. The total consideration is Dh295 million, payable over two years, with an upfront payment of Dh74 million and the balance staggered thereafter.
KLP Free Zone 3 covers approximately 128,451 square metres of land, offering about 59,822 square metres of gross leasable area spread across four purpose-built warehouse blocks designed for industrial and logistics activities. The site benefits from proximity to Khalifa Port and direct links to major transport corridors, enabling efficient access to regional and international markets and enhancing its appeal to third-party tenants.
MAIR Group’s Managing Director and Group CEO, Nehayan Hamad Alameri, said the acquisition reflects a disciplined approach to portfolio expansion via selective, income-generating commercial real estate assets. The deal strengthens Makani Real Estate’s role within the Group and supports MAIR’s strategy of delivering sustainable, long-term value for shareholders through defensive, yield-focused logistics and commercial properties.
At the same time, the transaction underlines growing investor interest in Abu Dhabi’s industrial and logistics hubs, where long-duration land leases and modern warehouse infrastructure offer attractive, relatively resilient cash flows. For tenants, the combination of KEZAD’s free zone benefits and strong connectivity positions KLP Free Zone 3 as a competitive base for distribution, manufacturing support, and regional logistics operations.
