Seeded fourth at the ATP 500 event, the 24-year-old Draper returns from injury and a recent Davis Cup victory. He praised the hard court conditions and the tournament environment, adding that preparing well physically and mentally has him optimistic for a strong performance.
Reflecting on his journey, Draper shared how the tournament has been an inspiration since his youth and expressed confidence in his potential to reach the top of the sport in the coming years.
The tournament also features top seed Felix Auger-Aliassime, defending champion Stefanos Tsitsipas, and past champions Daniil Medvedev, Andrey Rublev, and Stan Wawrinka, who is competing in his final ATP Tour season.
