Al Qasimi Palace Ras Al Khaimah

Al Qasimi Palace Ras Al Khaimah haunted is now on the market for Dh25 million, offering a rare opportunity to own a mansion steeped in both legend and luxury. The four-storey palace, built in 1985 by the late Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Qasimi, spans 20,000 square metres and features 35 rooms blending Islamic, Moroccan, Persian, and Indian architectural styles. Highlights include French and Belgian chandeliers, Thassos marble flooring, and a glass pyramid roof.

Known locally as the “Palace of Ghosts,” the mansion has remained largely unoccupied for over 30 years amid tales of jinn, flickering lights, and ghostly figures. Sheikh Abdulaziz never lived in the residence due to family objections over its sculptures and artworks, which are believed by some to have contributed to its eerie reputation.

The current owner, Tareq Ahmad Al Sharhan, who restored the palace and opened it as a museum, confirmed the sale is exclusively to an Emirati buyer, in keeping with Ras Al Khaimah’s property registration rules. He emphasized the palace’s cultural and historical value, urging an owner who appreciates its heritage.

Perched on a hilltop overlooking the city, the Al Qasimi Palace not only fascinates visitors with its opulence but also entices thrill-seekers with its haunted lore — a unique blend that makes this property one-of-a-kind in the UAE.
