At least 10 people were killed and several others injured after a stampede at the Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Kasibugga, Srikakulam district, Andhra Pradesh. The tragedy occurred during a religious festival on Friday when a large crowd gathered for darshan (holy viewing).

Officials said the incident happened after panic broke out near the temple entrance as devotees rushed forward to offer prayers. Eyewitnesses reported that narrow passageways and lack of crowd barriers worsened the situation.
