Dubai government fees payment options expand to include leading global digital wallets in 2025, boosting cashless accessibility for residents, businesses, and visitors. The Dubai Department of Finance (DOF) has enabled multiple wallet-based payments across all government entities, allowing users to pay fees with Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay, Alipay+, Alipay, WeChat Pay, RuPay, Diners, Discover, China UnionPay, NPCI QR (UPI), and Soft POS/Tap to Pay. The rollout will complete by year-end through platforms like DubaiPay and DubaiNow.

Abdulrahman Saleh Al Saleh, DOF Director General, called the move a “major milestone” towards Dubai’s vision of a cashless government, enhancing transparency and innovation in public services. Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director General of Digital Dubai, emphasized how this supports Dubai Economic Agenda D33’s goals of digital economy growth and transaction simplification for users.
