The highly anticipated finale of Sher, the hit drama series starring Danish Taimoor and Sarah Khan, was celebrated with a grand premiere at a multiplex in Karachi. The event was a star-studded affair, with the lead actors arriving in style—Taimoor in a striped grey suit and Khan in a radiant floral print sari. They were accompanied by their spouses, Ayeza Khan and Falak Shabbir, respectively.
The guest list included notable celebrities such as Humayun Saeed, Faysal Quraishi, Azaan Sami Khan, Sunita Marshal, Javeria Saud, Affan Waheed, Nabeel, and Ali Rehman. The premiere was scheduled to coincide with the television broadcast of the finale, which aired on Thursday night.
According to Abdullah Seja, CEO of iDream Entertainment, the production company behind Sher, the final episode was screened in over 40 cinemas nationwide and received a positive response from audiences. The episode was also made available on ARY Zap, the network’s streaming platform, for viewers who missed the theatrical release.
Directed by Aehsun Talish and written by Zanjabeel Asim Shah, Sher tells the story of Sher Zaman and Fajar, two individuals from feuding families who dare to love each other. The series has been praised for its compelling narrative and strong performances, making it one of the most talked-about dramas of the year.
