UK Expat Wins 24K Gold Bar in Abu Dhabi Big Ticket E-Draw

A UK expat wins 24k gold bar in Big Ticket’s weekly e-draw, just in time to buy her dream wedding dress.

Naia, who has lived in the UAE for the past five years, purchased ticket number 017645 during Big Ticket’s “Buy Two, Get One Free” promotion. It was her first time buying an entry early — and a decision that paid off spectacularly.

“I bought my ticket thinking maybe I could win and buy the dress I really loved for my wedding,” she told show host Richard. “And it worked! I’m getting the dress I wanted — and this time, it’s all for me,” she laughed.

The lucky win left her speechless. “I actually can’t believe it,” said Naia, who is now looking ahead to the Dh25 million grand prize draw coming up on November 3, 2025.

Richard congratulated her during the call, calling her “one of the rare UK winners in recent draws.” Naia admitted that she had checked before and “couldn’t see anyone from the UK” among previous winners. The win, she said, restored her belief that luck can strike when you least expect it.
