MoHRE’s Zero Bureaucracy program is streamlining procedures while warning UAE jobseekers about the rising threat of fake job offers and UAE visa scams. As part of ongoing efforts to improve customer experience and build a robust, user-centered service ecosystem, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) is discussing alignment of contract and residency permit dates and simplifying business package processes through its digital “Work Package” platform, benefitting private-sector employees and companies.
The ministry’s Customer Council, which has logged 23 sessions and 2,400 participants in the first half of 2025, emphasizes public engagement in service reform and digital transformation, in line with the UAE’s national Zero Bureaucracy agenda. Customer feedback drives improvements in processes and supports initiatives like the Domestic Workers Law and Golden Visa renewals.
MoHRE issued a strong advisory warning jobseekers about fraudulent recruiters who target candidates with bogus job offers, contracts, and residency documents in exchange for money. Key tips include:
Ensure all job offers are issued by MoHRE with authentic documentation.
Use official UAE government portals to verify job offers and company credentials.
Legitimate work entry permits come from MoHRE, while tourist or visit visas do not grant work privileges.
Employers cover recruitment costs and must provide proper documentation.
For Dubai, verify via GDRFA; for other emirates, use the ICP eChannels portal.
