Devahans Sahoo UAE U15 record-breaking innings dazzled spectators at the Emirates Cricket Board’s National Inter-Academy League held at Ajman Oval Ground. The 14-year-old prodigy representing MS Cricket Academy Sharjah scored an astonishing 289 runs off just 111 balls, setting a new highest individual score record in any UAE Under-15 league match.
Unleashing fierce batting against YTCA Ajman, Devahans struck 36 fours and 13 sixes with a staggering strike rate of 260.36. His dominating performance powered MS Cricket Academy to a massive total of 442 for 2 in 30 overs, raising the bar for junior cricket in the UAE.
YTCA Ajman fell dramatically short, collapsing to 47 for 9 as MS Cricket Academy secured a commanding victory. Veteran coach Shezad Altaf praised Devahans’ exceptional talent and potential to shine not only in UAE cricket but also on the global stage, lauding his discipline and ability to control the game at such a young age.
