Dubai City Inspector initiative 2025 launches a pioneering programme to certify a new generation of inspectors across multiple municipal sectors, marking a step change in the emirate’s regulatory framework. The first batch includes 63 Emirati inspectors trained in 14 technical fields spanning food safety, construction, waste management, and public facilities oversight.
The initiative aims to unify inspection processes, reduce duplication, and improve compliance with legal standards, boosting service quality and community satisfaction. Through the new City Inspector Professional Diploma, inspectors gain specialised knowledge and judicial authority to conduct periodic, complaint-based, and visual inspections efficiently.
Dubai Municipality emphasises innovation, integration, and proactive regulation with detailed manuals, risk-based checklists, and technology adoption to elevate inspection outcomes. This approach ensures Dubai maintains its global leadership as one of the world’s most liveable cities focused on health, safety, and quality of life.
