UAE Space Agency Digital Platform 2025: Streamlining Space Licensing And Boosting Innovation

UAE Space Agency digital platform 2025 launch marks a significant advancement in the emirate’s smart governance journey. Ahead of GITEX Global 2025, the agency unveiled a unified digital gateway for all space-related services, allowing investors, entrepreneurs, and startups to apply for and manage space licences fully online.

Eng. Salem Butti Al Qubaisi, Director General, emphasized the platform as a global model reducing bureaucracy through paperless, efficient processing that supports the UAE’s ambitions as a global space hub. The licensing process is streamlined into four steps: registration via UAE PASS, application submission, agency review, and instant digital licence issuance with real-time tracking.

The first digital licence was awarded to Space42 during testing, praising the platform’s quick and user-friendly process. This initiative aligns with the UAE’s National Space Strategy 2030 and Centennial 2071 vision to create a sustainable, knowledge-based space sector that fosters innovation and global collaborations.
