The introduction of WhatsApp as a communication channel adds to Salik’s nine existing touchpoints, including its website, social media platforms, SMS, and partnerships with UAE’s Roads and Transport Authority, Abu Dhabi Digital Authority, Careem, and major banks.
Salik continues to invest in advanced technology such as vehicle recognition systems with 99.9% accuracy for seamless toll gate operation and is expanding its eWallet service to cover more smart payment options beyond toll fees.
