Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan Gulf tour 2025, starting with Bahrain and scheduled visits to Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, and the UAE. The UAE visit includes two separate trips: the first in early November with events in Abu Dhabi celebrating Kairali TV’s 25th anniversary and a community reception at Abu Dhabi City Golf Club; the second in December focusing on expat engagement in Dubai and Northern Emirates. Accompanied by Fisheries and Culture Minister Saji Cherian, Vijayan’s tour emphasizes strengthening ties with the large Malayali diaspora through cultural events and community meetings. The tour’s timing aligns with Kerala’s upcoming assembly elections, underscoring its political significance. His son, Vivek Kiran Vijayan, working in Abu Dhabi, adds a personal dimension to the visit. Officially, the tour supports cultural outreach and diaspora connection, involving the Lok Kerala Sabha, Norka Roots, and Malayalam Mission. Registration and coordination for events are handled by local expatriate organizations.
