Emirates has been named “Best International Airline” of 2025 by the Forbes Travel Guide Verified Air Travel Awards, adding to a host of global accolades it garnered this year. The airline also received honors for “Best International First Class” and “Best International Airline Lounge.” The awards are based on evaluations by around 9,000 frequent travelers, luxury advisors, and Forbes Travel Guides inspectors validated through a star-rating system.
Forbes highlighted Emirates’ continuous refinement of the passenger experience, citing the debut of a lounge-like check-in area for First-Class and Skywards Platinum members and Emirates becoming the first autism-certified airline, with over 30,000 crew and staff trained to support travelers with autism.
Emirates was also voted “Best Long-Haul Airline” at The Times and Sunday Times Travel Awards 2025 for the second consecutive year, praised for cabin crew service, private First Class suites with onboard showers, and its fleet of Airbus A380 aircraft. The airline expanded its network in 2025, connecting the Middle East to five new destinations including Shenzhen (China) and Siem Reap (cambodia).
Emirates operates the world’s largest international First Class seat inventory, featuring private suites on Boeing 777-300ER aircraft with luxury amenities such as floor-to-ceiling doors, zero-gravity seats, Bulgari products, and gourmet menus. The airline’s First Class Lounge in Dubai was named “Best International Airline Lounge” by Forbes for its exquisite facilities including à la carte dining, a cigar bar, spa services, and direct boarding.
The airline also dominated several categories at the World Travel Awards 2025 regional finals and earned recognition at other esteemed ceremonies, reinforcing its leadership in luxury air travel and customer service innovation.
