The BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi is preparing for a grand Diwali 2025 celebrations, with a full week of events beginning from October 18 and culminating on October 20 with the main festivities. The temple, renowned as the first traditional hand-carved stone Hindu temple in the Middle East, will host daily pujas, cultural performances, and the sacred Annakut offering.
Key highlights include online registration for visitors via mandir.ae/book-visit, strict security and safety guidelines, and special arrangements like temperature-controlled entry gates and a large air-conditioned welcome tent, ensuring a comfortable and safe experience for all attendees. Diwali prayers and pujas will be held from morning to evening, with special events like Dhanteras Puja on October 18 and the main Diwali Puja on October 20.
The temple complex also features the globally acclaimed immersive film The Fairy Tale, showcasing the history and architecture of the temple—an award-winning example of design and technological excellence. Following Diwali, the temple will observe the ancient Vedic tradition of Annakut with a grand offering of vegetarian dishes, signifying gratitude and devotion.
