The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) has inaugurated the New Zamzam Mosque in Al Barsha South 2, designed to serve the spiritual needs of local residents and nearby communities.
With a capacity of 850 worshippers—700 men and 150 women—the mosque blends traditional Islamic architectural elements with modern design. It features a spacious main prayer hall, a separate women’s prayer area, a minaret, and an elegant arcade. Housing facilities for the Imam and Muezzin are also included.
The mosque is equipped with essential amenities such as ablution areas, ample parking, and accessibility for People of Determination and elderly worshippers. It incorporates modern air-conditioning, advanced sound systems, and energy-efficient lighting, reflecting Dubai’s commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
This community-focused mosque was generously donated by the Abdul Wahed Al Rostamani Group and his grandchildren, underscoring the spirit of giving and social responsibility.
