Renowned Pakistani actress and youth icon Hania Aamir has officially been appointed UN Women Pakistan’s National Goodwill Ambassador, with a mandate to raise awareness, drive real action, and amplify the voices of women and girls across Pakistan. In her new role, Hania will lead initiatives focusing on gender equality, women’s leadership, education access, prevention of gender-based violence, and digital inclusion.
Having earned international recognition through her work in popular dramas and films, Hania brings not only celebrity appeal but also a strong social media presence—her influence spans millions—making her well positioned to mobilize support and connect with younger generations.
