Sharjah Euro 5 emission buses 2025 represent a key step in the emirate’s commitment to sustainable public transportation. The Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) has introduced nine new buses that meet stringent Euro 5 emission standards, raising the fleet’s capability to 138 vehicles and providing cleaner, more efficient travel options for residents and visitors.

Engineer Youssef Khamis Al Othmani, Chairman of SRTA, underscored the expansion’s timing amid Sharjah’s population growth and rising demand for reliable mass transit. These new buses feature advanced technology, enhanced fuel efficiency, and lower emissions, aligning with Sharjah’s vision of fostering environmentally friendly practices while ensuring passenger comfort.
