Dr. Anwar Gargash, diplomatic advisor to the UAE President, highlighted that the UAE’s top diplomatic priority during the UN General Assembly week was to oppose Israel’s plans to annex Palestinian land, push for an end to the Gaza war, halt bloodshed, and ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid.
Under the leadership of Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the UAE mobilized all available diplomatic channels and resources to advance these objectives effectively. Dr. Gargash noted that the UAE’s strong and strategic presence at UNGA 2025 was marked by extensive experience, influential international connections, and a capable team, reinforcing the country’s reputation for achieving positive diplomatic outcomes on the world stage.
