In Dubai, drivers can now bypass traffic and park for free at three Dubai Metro stations via the “Park & Ride” service. These stations—Centrepoint in Al Rashidiya (Red Line), National Paints (interchange on the Red Line), and e& Metro in Al Qusais (Green Line)—offer multi-storey parking directly connected to platforms.
To use the service, you scan your nol card at the parking entrance, travel via Metro using the same card, and scan it again when exiting the lot. The car parks stay open 24/7, and parking is free as long as you use the Metro.
There are rules to note: entering and exiting within 10 minutes is free, and if your last Metro journey was more than 60 minutes ago, a parking fee applies. Non-Metro users will pay Dh10 per hour (capped at Dh50 per day), and vehicles left over 24 hours face fines or possible impoundment.
This Dubai Metro free parking scheme makes commuting smoother and more affordable—especially during big events, concerts, or when heading into high-traffic zones in the city.
