A training centre in one of the UAE’s emirates has been shut down by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR) following inspections that uncovered serious violations. The unlicensed training centre UAE was found offering courses without mandatory approval, running unaccredited programmes, enrolling students illegally, operating an unlicensed nursery, and breaching safety and employment regulations.
In response, the ministry closed the facility, referred administrators to Public Prosecution, and imposed financial penalties. Other government bodies, including the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation and the Department of Economic Development, joined the enforcement actions.
Authorities have urged students and parents to verify that educational and training institutions are properly licensed and that their programmes are accredited. The closure highlights the UAE’s commitment to maintaining strict educational standards.
