Etihad Airways Kabul flights December 2025 launch marks a significant expansion in the carrier’s South Asia network with three weekly flights beginning 18 December. The route connects Abu Dhabi and Kabul via Airbus A320, offering eight Business Class and 150 Economy seats.

Scheduled every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, the flights aim to strengthen travel, trade, and community relationships between Afghanistan and the Gulf Cooperation Council. The new service also facilitates seamless onward connections across Europe, Australia, and North America through Etihad’s global network hub in Abu Dhabi.

This announcement is part of Etihad’s aggressive route expansion, with 31 new destinations in 2025 amid rising passenger demand and a growing fleet. The UAE hosts one of the region’s largest Afghan populations, estimated at 300,000 residents, underscoring the route’s social and economic significance.
