Luxury car rental in Dubai has hit record highs this winter, with daily prices for premium and sport vehicles reaching up to Dh7,500. Driven by a historic surge in tourist arrivals, the city’s rental industry is seeing unprecedented demand across top luxury brands and performance categories.
Dubai welcomed 15.7 million visitors in the first ten months of 2025, sparking intense competition for high-end car bookings. From hotels near full capacity to car rental agencies fully booked, every sector is feeling the uptick in global travel momentum.
Peak Demand for Premium SUVs and Sports Cars
According to Islam Abdul Karim, Regional Head at Yango Group Middle East, the most in-demand models include the Land Rover Defender, Range Rover Sport, Porsche Cayenne, BMW X5/X6, and Mercedes GLE63. In the ultra-luxury range, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan and Bentley Bentayga remain top choices that sell out fastest during peak periods.
The average luxury car rental in Dubai now spans 4 to 14 days, with 80% of bookings made 4–5 days in advance and the remaining confirmed within 48 hours. Limited availability of sports SUVs has made them the quickest-moving category among renters.
Shorter Trips, Impulsive Bookings
Industry experts note a growing trend of short-leisure trips and last-minute bookings, reflecting broader post-pandemic travel behaviors. “Compact SUVs, two-seaters, and convertibles are leading demand,” said Soham Shah, CEO and Founder of SelfDrive Mobility.
Entry-luxury models now rent for Dh3,500–Dh4,500 per day, while performance supercars command as much as Dh7,500 daily. Average rental durations range between five and seven days after arrival, supported by simplified digital bookings and premium concierge-style services.
Tourists from the US and Europe Lead Demand
Most high-end car rental inquiries this December are from travelers coming from the US, UK, and Europe. SelfDrive Mobility reports an increase of nearly 20% in repeat bookings, driven by strong brand familiarity and easier digital access to car rental platforms.
Industry leaders note that superior service quality, flexibility, and quick verification processes are attracting both first-time and returning luxury renters.
What You Need to Rent a Luxury Car in the UAE
Visitors renting premium cars must present a valid driving licence, passport with entry stamp, and meet the minimum age of 21 years. Many rental agencies now offer no-deposit options, chauffeur services, and comprehensive insurance coverage designed specifically for luxury models.
With premium SUVs, electric luxury sedans, and supercars in short supply, 2025 marks one of the strongest years ever for Dubai’s high-end mobility market. As the city gears up for full hotel occupancy and record-breaking flight arrivals, its roads are becoming a lively showcase of global luxury and speed.
