Sustainable Home-Garden Contest - Gulf Repost

Dubai’s urban landscape is about to get greener and smarter: the Dubai Municipality has unveiled the third edition of its “Most Beautiful Sustainable Home Garden in Dubai” competition, offering a generous prize pool of Dh 300,000 to celebrate creative, eco-friendly gardens across the city.

This initiative forms part of the UAE’s Year of the Community and supports the ambitions of the Dubai Urban Master Plan 2040 to enhance liveability and sustainability in every neighbourhood.

Participants are invited to turn their private gardens into showcases of innovation and environmental stewardship — combining beautiful landscaping with efficient water and energy use, biodiversity, smart design and native-plant cultivation. To help entrants, Dubai Municipality is offering workshops, awareness programmes and digital guidance on sustainable home-garden design.
